Glendale, Ariz. (WGR 550) - Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been named the 2023 winner of the NFL Players' Association's Alan Page Community Service Award, as voted on by the players.
Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest on the playing field during the Bills' Week 17 "Monday Night Football" game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium.
Hamlin's Chasing M's Foundation, including a Toy Drive he started while in college playing at the University of Pittsburgh, has since raised millions of dollars through donations that have poured in from around the world.
