The Bears can go out on a high note this season while simultaneously crushing the Packers’ playoff hopes.
Chicago doesn’t have much to play for in Week 18. The Bears already have the No. 1 overall pick locked in with the Panthers in line to finish with the worst record in the league, and they have no shot at the postseason. But they’ll be in Green Bay for the final game of the season, facing a Packers team that needs a win to keep their postseason hopes alive.
It’s been a bumpy campaign for the Bears, but crushing the Packers’ dreams in Green Bay would certainly put an exclamation point on the season. No. 1 receiver DJ Moore told Mully & Haugh he’s angling to do just that Sunday.
“It would feel great because, like I said, they came in and beat us,” Moore said Tuesday. “So we want to go there and get a win there and upset (their) playoff hopes.
“We want to get back because we lost (to them) at home, so now we want to go to their home and take it over -- and it would just add something more special to it by not letting them get to the playoffs.”
