(93.7 The Fan) - Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach and Super Bowl champion Bill Cowher says he and his wife both had COVID-19.
Cowher told The Athletic that he and his wife, singer Veronica Stigeler, who also goes by Queen V, did not test for the virus when they experienced symptoms back in March, but did test positive for coronavirus antibodies in April.
The current NFL on CBS contributor says they both lost their sense of smell and taste a slight fever along with shaky joints. He adds his wife had a dry cough.
Cowher says he believes they got the virus while eating at a few restaurants in New York.
Both have since recovered from coronavirus and the coach is looking forward to his Hall of Fame induction ceremony next August.
Cowher will be inducted alongside one of his players Troy Polamalu and Steelers legend from the 70s Donnie Shell.
