It's hard to blend in when you're 6-foot-10 and one of the greatest pitchers in MLB history.

But apparently, that's what Hall of Famer Randy Johnson has done in his second career as a professional photographer.

A tweet made the rounds Wednesday morning from a fan who learned that since retiring from baseball following the 2009 season, "The Big Unit" has transitioned into being a photographer:

The picture in question is real, and it's actually from all the way back in 2011. On his website, Johnson explains how he came to photograph NFL games, concerts and safaris:

"My career as a Major League baseball pitcher has been well documented, but what is not as well known is my passion for photography, which began when I studied photojournalism at the University of Southern California from 1983-85.Baseball became my occupation for two decades but my love of photography never left. Following my 2010 retirement, I was able to focus my attention back to this passion."

Perhaps the best part about the five-time Cy Young Award winner's photography business is the logo he's chosen to use, paying homage to the time a bird made the poor decision to fly in front of one of his pitches:

Given how many stories there are of star athletes struggling to find new passions after their careers end, those who didn't already know about Johnson's photography enjoyed learning about it:
