PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Even if his emotional outbursts question whether you think he should play, wide receiver George Pickens is a game-changer for the Steelers. We found out late in the week he was dealing with a hamstring injury and was limited during practice. It was bad enough that Pickens was ruled out for Sunday.

He hasn’t previously had an injury listed all season. His value:
·     8th in the NFL in receiving yards
·     3rd in plays of 20-plus yards
·     Top 20 in the league in targets
·     4th best receiver in the AFC according to Pro Football Focus ahead of Ja’Marr Chase

Veteran Mike Williams would expect to get a bigger role against the 3-9 Browns.

Also ruled out-guard Max Scharping, DE Dean Lowry, DB Cory Trice, Jr and Kyle Allen is the emergency QB
