
The Gopher football team could be facing another postponement because of a COVID-19 outbreak.
The U-of-M announcing that 15 more team members tested positive for coronavirus since all activities were paused in the middle of last week.
Eight of those new positive tests were among players, the rest were staff members.
Since mid-December, the Gopher football program is reporting that 20 players and 20 staffers have tested positive for covid.
The pause led to the calling off the long-time rivalry game at Wisconsin.
Officials say Saturday's game against Northwestern at TCF Bank Stadium is still on.
