Jason Garrett has spent most of his professional career with the Dallas Cowboys, and a little with the New York Giants, but on Sunday he was pledging his allegiance to another NFC East team.
“I never thought I’d say this in my life,” Garrett began. “But ‘Fly, Eagles Fly.’”
Garrett was indeed picking the Cowboys’ bitter NFC East rivals during the Sunday Night Football segment — a decision that had Cowboys fans ready to pounce on him on social media and they did not hesitate.
Even the mayor of Dallas chimed in.
Needless to say, Garrett is not winning over many fans with his pick. Although, based on some of the reaction, it didn’t seem like there were many fans of him in Dallas to begin with.
