The contestants on Wednesday night's episode of Jeopardy! drew the ire of Sports Twitter after they blanked on what users apparently saw as layup clue.
The three contestants -- Jackie, Candace and Joey -- offered up blank stares when presented with a description of 1980s two-sport icon Bo Jackson:
The clue read:
"A few career highlights: He won the Heisman at Auburn, ran for 221 yards in one game for the Raiders, and was an A.L. All-Star."
Host Mayim Bialik cheerfully informed them it was Jackson before moving on.

The peanut gallery on Twitter was not about to let this apparent affront to the legacy of the great Jackson stand without some potshots -- many of which of course riffed on the famous Nike tag line, "Bo knows."
None of these contestants knew Vincent Edward "Bo" Jackson. Ridiculous. Unforgivable. Disqualifying. #Jeopardy

Late to #Jeopardy tonight, but how the F did they miss Bo Jackson?

Jeopardy is amazing cause the contestants will get every question about two sport athletes right except for the one about Bo Jackson

All three of these contestants should get automatic losses for not knowing who Bo Jackson is. #Jeopardy pic.twitter.com/o83NWTWWkd
