NFL great JJ Watt is proving himself to be one of the league's good guys once again.

The five-time All-Pro responded to a fan who was advertising a pair of Watt signature sneakers and a Watt Texans jersey in order to pay for her grandfather's funeral.
Watt, now entering his second season with the Arizona Cardinals after a standout career in Houston, vowed to assist with the funeral costs and urged the fan not to sell the gear.
"I have a pair of @JJWatt womens edition of Reebok shoes size 9 $60," the Texans fan tweeted. "I’ve worn them twice. They are great shoes, im only selling because we are raising money for my grandpas funeral. I also have a Watt womens XL Texans Jersey $30. Anyone interested?"
Watt responded:
"Don’t sell your shoes and jersey, we’ll help with the funeral. I’m sorry for your loss."
He closed his tweet with a "praying" emoji.
The 33-year-old future Hall of Famer has a long history of philanthropic and other charitable work for the less fortunate. He has met with and raised funds for the victims of several mass-casualty events and natural disasters.
