PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — On Saturday, Joe Haden sent out a cryptic tweet that might leave one wondering.

In the tweet, Haden mentioned being "pissed and sad at the same time" before ending his curious message with a cautious "stay safe."

Well, it appears that the curtain is being pulled back somewhat on what Haden was referencing.

Initially, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler tweeted out that Joe Haden was involved in some sort of "Covid-19 situation."

According to Fowler's original report, the team was preparing as if Haden will not be available.

Even if through exposure or contact with a confirmed case, COVID involvement alone would make Haden's Week 17 availability tenuous.

But in a follow-up report, ESPN's Brooke Pryor and Dan Graziano sealed Haden's regular season fate and stated that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

And according to the league's mitigation protocol, Haden must isolate for a minimum of 10 days.

Haden will miss Sunday's game against the Browns — that one's obvious.

But the first round of the playoffs is also likely out for the corner.
