BT still is feeling good about the Knicks, even after losing game one, but he is still trying to shake of the “embarrassment” of letting Kevin Love burn them with long-distance outlet passes on multiple occasions during the Heat’s second-half comeback.

“Any time your team loses in the playoffs, there’s disappointment,” BT said. “Yeah you’re gonna miss shots, yeah you have to keep taking them, but the biggest adjustment should have been getting in their asses for not getting back down the court. I’ve never seen a team get beat back-to-back-to-back by 60-foot passes off a rebound. That’s embarrassing.”

For Tiki, getting beat by that specific play that starts with that specific player is a glaring lack of preparation or awareness of who the Knicks were dealing with.

“You gotta know the history of Kevin Love,” Tiki said. “He does this every single playoff series…he’s always looking to make that massive outlet pass, and he’s as accurate as anyone in NBA history.

“It’s amazing the Knicks weren’t ready or prepared for it.”
