Mary Kay Cabot joined Baskin and Phelps to talk about the reports she's heard about JJ Watt seriously considering the Browns. According to Cabot, Watt is interested in the Browns because they have cap space to sign him to what he believes is market value, and the potential to appear in the Super Bowl.
Watt was due $17.5 million in non-guaranteed salary before the Texans agreed to release him.
While Watt's numbers were down in 2020 with only five sacks, he was double teamed more than any edge rusher in the league, according to ESPN Stats and Information.
Watt, whose battled a long list of injuries in his career, remained healthy enough to play all 16 games for the second time in the last three seasons.
She also talked about Odell Beckham Jr. and whether or not the Browns are considering a trade for him.
