Nationals ace Max Scherzer will not start in Game 5 of the World Series tonight due to a trap injury.
Joe Ross will start against Gerrit Cole at Nationals Park.
The series is tied at two games apiece. Washington won Game 1 with Scherzer starting. Scherzer gave up two runs on five hits in five innings, striking out seven and walking three.
The Astros also just released their lineup for the game. Rookie Yordan Alvarez is starting in left field after not playing in Game 4.
Alvarez takes the spot of Jake Marisnick, who played in center field in Game 4. He'll bat sixth in the lineup.
