PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) It’s been an interesting week for Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Melvin Ingram III.

From reports that he requested a trade out of Pittsburgh and that the Steelers turned down a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, all the while dealing with a groin injury.
The injury kept Ingram from practicing in full all week and left him questionable for the Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns.
It was reported Saturday that Ingram has been downgraded to out for Week 8.
When asked about the trade request, head coach Mike Tomlin refused to go into detail, saying he didn’t know the specifics.
Coming off of a bye week, the Steelers travel to rival Cleveland and will do it mostly healthy, but will not have Ingram at linebacker, or tight end Eric Ebron.
Ebron himself had made headlines this past week with his want for more opportunities.
