Sherrone Moore has landed a prime target in his first recruiting cycle at Michigan. Four-star quarterback Brady Hart has committed to the Wolverines, he announced Tuesday via social media.

Hart chose Michigan over finalists Ohio State, Clemson, LSU, Miami and Florida State. He's the No. 7-ranked quarterback in the class of 2026, per 247 Sports, and also held offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Penn State and Oregon.

product of Cocoa High School in Florida, Hart picked the reigning national champs, who are entering their first season under Moore after the departure of Jim Harbaugh, "because of the culture they have there," he said, via 247 Sports. "The program they run. The people. The people were really impactful on my decision."

Hart said he had a particularly significant conversation during his decision-making process with J.J. McCarthy, who got on a Zoom call with Hart and "explained why he chose Michigan" as a recruit in the class of 2021. "He told me that they challenge you in every single way and that this place will bring the excellence out of me."

McCarthy's parents also drove from Illinois to Ann Arbor while the Hart family was visiting campus, which "meant everything to me," said Hart. "It showed that we were a priority for Michigan. It was incredible to get insight from the people that have been through what we're going through."

Now that he's committed to Moore and the Wolverines, Hart said he's going to hit the recruiting trail himself: "There are a bunch of guys I'm going to go after. I'm going to start figuring out the guys that fit Michigan from a cultural and personality standpoint and go after them.

"We're going to build the best class in the country."

Sounds like all's well in Ann Arbor.
