The Duke Blue Devils did not have their head coach for the second half of Tuesday’s game against Wake Fores.

Duke announced Mike Krzyzewski, who is retiring at the end of the season, was not feeling well and would not return to the bench for the remainder of the night.

Krzyzewski, 75, was reportedly attended to by Duke trainers several times in the first half.

Associate head coach Jon Scheyer, who will succeed Coach K next season, took over as the interim head coach in the second half.

After the game, which Duke won 76-74, Scheyer said he did not have an update on Coach K's condition.

"I really don't know," Scheyer said. "I've been coaching the game. I'm sure he's doing fine, but obviously we're concerned about him first and foremost. He'll be doing a lot better with the fact that it's a win."

Scheyer did say Coach K was in the building and even addressed the team after the win.
