During the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LV, ESPN announced that long-time reporter Pedro Gomez passed away. Gomez, who had been at the four-letter network since the early 2000s, was only 58 years old.
Perhaps most well-known for his coverage of Barry Bonds, Gomez was viewed incredibly highly around the baseball world. News of his passing brought on quite a few tributes:
