Maybe Team USA can add a robot to its roster.
During halftime of the USA men’s basketball game against France on Sunday, which the U.S. lost, a giant robot in a No. 95 jersey took the court and began draining free throws and 3-pointers to serve as entertainment.
The robot took three shots in total, including one from halfcourt, going 3-for-3.

The robot certainly took its time, much like Giannis Antetokounmpo, when it came to his free-throw shooting. It did not hear the countdown taunts, though, but we think it could be immune to those as well.
Naturally, everyone on social media seemed to enjoy the robot with plenty of Ben Simmons, Kawhi Leonard and Steph Curry jokes to boot.
Better shooter than Simmons 🤣 https://t.co/ndI61aV8sS
