CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) - Legendary Cleveland sportscaster Les Levine has been elected to the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame, according to a press release by the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission Tuesday.

Levine, who passed away this past February at the age of 74, was well known in the Cleveland area for his work in sports media across various platforms. The self-proclaimed “Voice of Truth and Reason,” Levine worked for years covering the Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians, whether it be on his longtime cable TV program “More Sports & Les Levine” or in hosting for WKRK/92.3 The Fan. Known for such segments like his "How Come Quickies", Levine also worked in play-by-play broadcasts for Cleveland State and Kent State University.

Levine is part of a four-man Class of 2021 for the Hall of Fame that includes PGA Tour golfer Ben Curtis (who won the 2003 Open Championship at Royal St. George's Golf Club), and former Cleveland Cavaliers Larry Nance Sr. and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
