Fans will get to see a behind-the-scenes look into Patrick Mahomes’ chase for a second Super Bowl title on Netflix this summer.
The streaming service announced on Wednesday a partnership with the NFL to launch a new docu-series, titled “Quarterbacks,” with the first season being told through the lens of Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota.

The series, produced by NFL Films, Omaha Productions and 2PM Productions (the latter a new company founded by Mahomes), followed the three quarterbacks on and off the field throughout the 2022 season and will premiere this summer.
Mahomes, Cousins and Mariota all offer very different perspectives of life in the NFL as a quarterbrack.
Mahomes is arguably the best quarterback in the game and spent the season looking to build on his legacy of a Super Bowl champion and doing it with the challenege of losing his top wide receiver, Tyreek Hill.
“I’m excited for fans to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at an unforgettable season for the entire Chiefs organization and for my family,” Mahomes said in a statement. “From welcoming home a new baby. In the middle of the season to welcoming the Lombardi trophy back to Kansas City, our crew was there for it all.”
Cousins, quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings, led his team to an NFC North title and engineered the greatest comeback in NFL history when he led the Vikings from down 33-0 to beat the Colts in Week 15.
However, he was unable to beat the New York Giants at home, ending his season on a disappointing note.
Mariota, a former first-round pick, entered the season winning the starting quarterback job for the Atlanta Falcons but struggled to find success and eventually lost his job to rookie Desmond Ridder.
“Playing quarterback in the NFL is a unique experience that has some pretty incredible ups and downs,” Peyton Manning, an executive producer for Omaha Productions, said. “Thanks to this collaboration with our partners at NFL Films, 2PM Productions and Netflix, fans will be given a. unique and intimate look at what life is like as a starting QB.”
