The NFLPA has sent out the collective bargaining agreement to the players.

The new CBA will have to be voted on and approved by the players before it can be ratified and put into effect by the league.

The next and final stage of voting opened up at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 5 and that window will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, reports ESPN's Dan Graziano.

Specifically, player voting will close at 11:59 pm ET on Thursday, March 12.

The CBA moved onto the player voting stage after getting a majority vote out of 32 NFLPA player representatives in a preliminary vote.

It passed by the skin of its teeth with 17 out of the 32 representatives voting in favor of the new CBA.
According to Pro Football Talk, now "every dues paying union member gets a vote."

All player-voters will receive a copy of the 456-page CBA document via email and are encouraged to read through it before voting.

The new CBA will look to add a 17th regular season game, which was one of the major points of contention.

Other major changes would introduce more lenient substance abuse and drug-tesing policies.
