The Los Angeles Chargers clinched a postseason berth with a win over the Colts on Monday Night Football in Week 16.

And they did it after their best defensive player was ejected from the game and possibly injured while delivering a crushing hit.
Three-time Pro Bowl safety Derwin James was disqualified with about 5 minutes remaining in the second quarter after he leveled Indianapolis wide receiver Ashton Dulin.
The violent collision separated Dulin from the ball -- and had both players getting up slow and being checked for concussions.
On social media, journalists, players and fans weighed in on the controversial call that saw arguably one of the game's most impactful players sent to the locker room.
Many of them expressed concern about the violent impact.
But others felt that James was treated unfairly for what is an inevitable outcome of a brutal sport.
