The Patriots have another player going on the COVID list.

According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, the team is placing offensive lineman James Ferentz on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

This likely explains why the team canceled practice Friday afternoon, but it is worth noting just because Ferentz is on the COVID list, it does not guarantee he tested positive.

Ferentz played 76 snaps at center in the last game against the Chiefs with David Andrews on injured reserve. He was listed as a DNP in Wednesday's projected practice report, but then returned to the field Thursday.

As of now, Sunday's Patriots-Broncos game is on as scheduled. If played, the team will need to rework its offensive line once again.
