What makes the Patriots unique, relative to other major sports franchises, is that they represent not just a city or state, but an entire region. They’re deliberately named the “New England” Patriots, not Boston or Massachusetts. That covers Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine and Chase Winovich’s personal favorite, New Hampshire. In fact, Winovich went as far as to call it a “God-tier state” Tuesday morning, continuing his recent infatuation with Massachusetts’ northern neighbor.
Ok this is real talk... New Hampshire has everything. One moment you’re on a mountain, 30 minutes later you can be surfing, and in the same day you can be walking on the beach with someone else’s pet goats. God Tier State!!!

Just how enamored is the Patriots linebacker with his new Granite State surroundings? I'll let you be the judge.
New Hampshire is so cool 😎

I love New Hampshire

New Hampshire we’ll see you this weekend!!! LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Live Free or Die, am I right? Winovich, who hails from the Pittsburgh suburb of Jefferson Hills, seems smitten with New Hampshire’s quaint stylings, particularly Portsmouth, a popular resort town along the Maine border.
I’m moving my off-season operations to Portsmouth it’s so sick here

I changed my Twitter bio’s location to Portsmouth. I will find a place to rent. Speak it into existence 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Is there anybody that would be willing to rent me a house in the Portsmouth area (preferably near the beach) for a very pretty penny and a lifetime of gratitude?

Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This town is special. It’s not just the place, it’s the people, it’s energy. America (and the world at that) needs peace, but more importantly it needs people to communicate the ideas and tools necessaryhttps://t.co/McPrcGC2eY

Clearly taken by the beauty of New Hampshire’s rolling mountains and scenic shoreline, the 25-year-old Michigan alum hasn’t even scratched the surface yet. Wait until he discovers Lake Winnipesaukee, the state’s laissez-faire approach to fireworks (New Hampshire’s stash is the most coveted in all New England, if not the entire northeast) and ability to sell alcohol tax free any day of the week (many a Bostonite has made the Sunday voyage up I-93 for precisely this purpose).
Coming off their worst season in decades, the rebuilding Patriots have plenty to sort out this offseason, but fortunately they won’t have to worry about Winovich going anywhere. Winovich, who led the team in both sacks (5.5) and tackles for loss last season (7.5) is under contract through 2022. And based on his love affair with the great state of New Hampshire, it sounds like the 2019 third-rounder plans to stay in New England for as long as the Pats will have him.
