Eagles left tackle Jason Peters will soon be placed on injured after an MRI revealed he has a toe injury that will sideline him for several weeks, according to an NFL Network report.

Peters going on injured reserve means he will be out at least three weeks, but the report indicates Peters could be out longer than that.

With Peters out the Eagles will likely be starting either Jordan Mailata or Jack Driscoll at left tackle on Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Matt Pryor could be an option, but since he is currently their starting right guard, it is unlikely they will want to move him.

If the Eagles do start Mailata it will be his first NFL start.
