Doug Lesmerises tells Ken and Lima that Ryan Day gets only a little pass with Julian Sayin likely done for the year, since Ohio State still has to beat Michigan, and he explains how hard it is to keep an ideal backup quarterback in the transfer era. He compares the situation to JT Barrett in 2014, calls the road trip to USC and the home game against Oregon the real test, and says Jeremiah Smith's Heisman case could go either way. Ken and Lima then debate whether Day deserves a pass, with Lima arguing he has built a program that can handle college football's volatility.
