According to 93.7 The Fan’s Andrew Fillipponi, the Steelers “have looked into 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk.”

Aiyuk is heading into the last year of his contact and Poni said the “Steelers would have to execute a sign and trade. But they’ve shown interest.”

Aiyuk added gasoline to the fire on Tuesday when he tweeted at Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin.

It’s the first time that Aiyuk has posted a message on X (formally Twitter) in nearly a year, when he commented about quarterback CJ Stroud.

It’s a pretty close resemblance. Get Omar Epps in there and you’ve got triplets.

Aiyuk has 75 catches last season for 1,342 yards with 7 touchdowns. He averaged 17.9 yards a carry, a career high.

Aiyuk went off on the Steelers in Week One of the 2023 season with eight catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns, torching Patrick Peterson for most of the game.

If the Steelers do make a deal for Aiyuk, it’s going to likely cost them quite a bit.
