David Ortiz is living the high life.
The freshly minted Hall of Fame slugger is launching a new venture called Papi Cannabis, his very own line of cannabis product which is expected to be available at some Massachusetts dispensaries this month, per Boston.com.

The Boston Red Sox legend decided to get into the cannabis game because it was therapeutic for him following his MLB career. The drug had been considered a banned substance for players to take until 2019 when it was removed.
“Once I embraced the flow of the flower, everything changed,” Ortiz said in a press release. “Cannabis has helped me relax, sleep better, manage stress and heal physically after a lifetime of playing ball, and I look forward to sharing Papi Cannabis and my personal journey to help people understand its benefits.”
The first product in the line is expected to be Papi’s Sweet Sluggers — pre-rolled blunts featuring his choice of marijuana strains, such as Bootylicious #4.

Ortiz said he worked with his daughter, Alexandra, on the artwork for the packaging of the Sweet Sluggers.
Papi Cannabis is partnered with Massachusetts cannabis manufacturer and wholesaler, Rev Brands. It will be available at three Revolutionary Clinics and leading recreational dispensaries in the Bay State.
