The NFL Draft is just around the corner, which means we are going to start seeing a lot more betting odds surrounding the big spectacle. DraftKings Sportsbook has already posted a ton of Draft odds including pick specific bets like who is going to be selected 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall.

While Trevor Lawrence is a foregone conclusion to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the first pick, Zach Wilson looks like he is going to be the next quarterback taken going off of the odds.

DraftKings lists Wilson as a huge betting favorite to be the second overall pick at -500. Wilson is followed by Ohio State’s Justin Fields +600 and North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance at +1000.

With all signs indicating the New York Jets -- who went 2-14 in 2020 -- are moving on from Sam Darnold, they should go QB with the No. 2 pick. New York is in rebuild mode, so starting with a centerpiece at the two-spot makes a lot of sense for the team.

Wilson’s Pro Day was last Friday, and the Jets General Manager Joe Douglas was on hand in Provo to check out the QB's big day.

By all accounts, Wilson did not disappoint.

After the workout, Wilson went on to make some glowing remarks about Douglas and the Jets.

Per Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, Wilson said, “Great staff. Love those guys. Joe Douglas is a great guy. It was good to see him out here. They’ve got a good thing going.”

Odds are not the end all be all when it comes to where players will go in the Draft, but it is something to keep an eye on. We’re still a month away so a lot can happen between now and then, but Wilson to the Jets sure looks like it’s picking up steam.
