(SportsRadio 610) -- Texans starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns due to a hamstring injury.
Taylor did not start the second half for the Texans, after going 10-for-11 with 125 passing yards, a 144.3 rating, along a touchdown throwing and and rushing.
Taylor's 15-yard touchdown scramble helped build the Texans' 14-7 lead over the Browns, who responded with a Baker Mayfield touchdown run to tie it.
The Texans and Browns remained tied going into halftime. Before the break, Taylor scrambled out of the pocket and threw the ball away, but appeared to come up limping and was visibly frustrated after the play.
Taylor was replaced by rookie quarterback Davis Mills to start the third quarter. The Texans' punted on that first drive and the Browns responded with a touchdown to take the lead.
