PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Joe Burrow made the easy throws and a couple of big ones under pressure while the Steelers (10-7) didn’t get anything going until the fourth quarter. It’s the BIG plays from the Steelers 19-17 loss to Cincinnati.

1st quarter
·     TD, Joe Burrow was a perfect 6 for 6 on the opening drive and made it look easy with only one difficult throw on a 9-yard completion to Tee Higgins. The score coming on a 12-yard TD pass to Ja’Marr Chase as it look like there was a communication issue between corner Cory Trice and safety Cam Sutton, who blitzed instead of dropping in coverage (9 plays, 73 yards, 5:11), 7-0 Cincinnati
·     FG, Burrow continued perfect, but on 3rd and 6 from the Steelers 26, Patrick Queen shot through the gap for a sack, also forcing a fumble. The Bengals would recover and Cade York would make a 48-yard FG into the open end (11 plays, 37 yards, 6:23), 10-0

2nd quarter

3rd quarter
·     FG, following a Steelers 3 and out to start the half, Burrow was perfect driving Cincinnati to the Steelers 5-yard line, then on 3rd and goal from the 5, he was sacked by Nick Herbig on 3rd and goal and face planted. Burrow would lie on the field for a couple of minutes and then run off of it. York hits a 35-yarder inside the right upright (11 plays, 47 yards, 6:28), 16-7
·     Wilson took a shot to George Pickens down the right side deep, the ball was in his hands and then knocked away by DJ Ivey around the Bengals 25-yard line on 3rd and 8

4th quarter
·     FG, Burrow beats a full-out blitz as he throws it up for Chase who makes a great catch on the sidelines for 19 yards to the Steelers 22. York would hit a 23-yard field goal after the Steelers stop and 3rd and goal at the 5. (15 plays, 82 yards, 8:31), 19-7
·     TD, Steelers go tempo and complete 3 straight to Van Jefferson. Harris has a 12-yard reception (leaves with injury) and Wilson finds Pat Freiermuth wide open in the right flat, he catches, cuts and jogs into the end zone (9 plays, 65 yards, 2:55), 19-14
·     A floating punt by Corliss Waitman hits the Bengals Ivey in the foot and recovered by Connor Heyward at the Bengals 38
·     FG, a third drop by George Pickens and a sack helped stop the next Steelers possession. Chris Boswell hits from 54 yards, Boswell is 13 of 15 from 50-plus this year (6 plays, 2 yards, 2:35), 19-17
·     On 3rd and 3 from the Steelers 49, nose tackle Keeanu Benton sacks Burrow for an 11-yard loss. Steelers get the ball back with 2:00 to play
