We’ve heard from anyone who even has a slight connection with the Steelers about who they would prefer or if anyone has any insight.

Art Rooney himself said he is aiming for someone who has mobility, going on to say Mason Rudolph is “mobile enough.”

According to Ian Rapoport, and originally said by Rooney, any and every option is on the table for the Steelers.

From a draft pick, to and in-house name, or free agent/trade, there will be no stone unturned.

Rapoport names Jimmy Garoppolo and Mitch Trubisky by name as guy the Steelers could zone in on for a trade, but had a little extra to say about Kevin Colbert’s position with the team.

According to Rapoport, he has been hearing that Colbert will not be leaving the team or stepping down in any way until the Steelers have their next franchise quarterback.

“He is not going to step away… until he finds a franchise quarterback.”

Rapoport went on to say that 20th in the draft would be a good spot to take a quarterback for the Steelers.

According to Lance Zierlein, the Steelers are one of the two top favorites to take Malik Willis as their first round pick.

The Steelers and Washington Commanders match with a 20% of taking Willis according to Zierlein.

From the day Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement until now, nothing has changed for the Steelers and the goal has continued to be the same; Find a quarterback that can win.

Whether it be Rudolph, Trubisky, Willis, or the countless other quarterbacks, the Steelers are sure to take a good, hard look at every candidate possible.
