The news Buffalo Bills fans have been bracing for since the second quarter of Thursday night's 31-6 win over the New Orleans Saints has arrived:
Tre'Davious White's 2021 season is over.
The Bills announced on Friday that White has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, which will force him to sit out for the rest of the 2021 campaign.
White suffered his injury while trying to cover Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway. The injury was of the non-contact variety.
White's 2021 season ends with one interception, six passes defended, and 41 total tackles in all 11 games to this point. He also had the most man coverage snaps in the NFL without allowing a receiving touchdown.
