(670 The Score) The White Sox will interview former World Series-winning manager Ozzie Guillen next week for their managerial opening, NBC Sports Chicago reported Friday afternoon.

Guillen, 58, managed the White Sox from 2004-’11 and led them to the World Series title in 2005. He compiled a 678-617 (.524) record in Chicago. He then managed the Marlins in 2012 and has been out of the big league dugout since.
Guillen is currently an analyst the White Sox pregame and postgame shows on NBC Sports Chicago. He’s also a 670 The Score contributor.
The White Sox’s managerial search has played out quietly for the most part. Astros bench coach Joe Espada and Royals bench coach Pedro Grifol are two candidates who interviewed and impressed the White Sox, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reported.
