Tim McCarver joined Jason & John at 12:25 PM CST on Monday.
McCarver was recently inducted into the Memphis Sports Hall of Fame's inaugural class, which included 22 inductees. McCarver excelled in football and baseball at Christian Brothers High School. At 17 years old, McCarver signed with the Cardinals where he was the catcher for two World Series champion teams before retiring in 1980 to become a legendary broadcaster.
