Memphis Tigers Basketball great Antonio Burks was in-studio with 92.9 FM ESPN's John Martin on Thursday (2/20).

On July 20, 2009, Burks was shot by a robber in Memphis. Burks underwent several surgeries and recovered in the hospital. The man who shot him was convicted of attempted second-degree murder and other charges and was sentenced to 97 years in prison; he will be eligible for parole after serving 51 years.
Burks broke down while discussing the 2009 shooting that derailed his basketball career.
