Same Story, Different Game. Grizzlies Rough 2nd Half Leads to Loss

It's a familiar story in loses for the Memphis Grizzlies. Start strong, leading 55 to 51 at halftime. Finish weak, losing the second half 50 to 39.

Now comes the blame game as the calendar has turned. Is it the coach? Is it the players?

JB Bickerstaff said there are "larger issues" with the team that were addressed after the game in the locker room between players and coaches (more in the postgame news conference with JB/click above). Bickerstaff wouldn't comment on anything regarding a Chandler Parsons return to the team.

Can’t fire JB without cleaning house. Wallace has hired Iavaroni, Hollins, Joerger, Fizdale and Bickerstaff. Can a GM outlast 5 coaches?

The two bright spots were the two Memphis Grizzlies power forwards. JaMychal Green (4 of 8, 8 points, 3 assists, and 7 rebounds in 23 minutes) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (26 points and 10 rebounds in 35 minutes). It wasn't their fault. Marc Gasol looked disengaged again (-20) and Mike Conley sat out much of the game, with his shoulder wrapped, scoring no points Wednesday night.
