With a capacity for 3,600 people, but likely about 200 or so in Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans for Memphis vs. Tulane, the Green Wave staged a comeback but ran out of time. Final: Memphis 83 Tulane 79

The New Orleans Saints are the main attraction in the Big Easy. Yes, there was a playoff game for the Saints. (The Saints pulled out that one over the Philadelphia Eagles, by the way. Final there: Saints 20 Eagles 14)

Yes, road wins are hard to close out sometimes, even if you're favored by 10.5 points like the Memphis Tigers were Sunday evening.

Final: Memphis 83, Tulane 79. Road win, yes, but too close and Tigers’ rebounding/defensive problems continue. Martin with 27pts/5rebs/3assts/3stls/2nlks/4to’s in 34 mins. Tigers give up 19 offensive rebounds; 25 pts to dude named Zhang (who was avg 6.5ppg coming in). SMU next.
