DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys second-year defensive end Sam Williams was forced to leave the team's first padded practice Monday with a shoulder injury.
In a video captured by Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, Williams was seen walking off the field in the middle of practice and into the locker room.
David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports that Williams suffered a shoulder strain, and "it's too early to say how long he'll be out."
Williams, who had four sacks in his rookie season in 2022, joined 105.3 The Fan live from training camp last week and spoke about taking the next step in his career.
