It's official. Tony Pollard will be back with the Cowboys this season.
According to multiple reports, the running back signed his franchise tag tender on Thursday.
Pollard and the Cowboys now have until July 17 to come to an agreement on a long-term extension. Should they not negotiate a new deal, Pollard will earn $10.1 million this season.
Pollard had a breakout season in 2022-23, piling up a career-high 1,007 yards on the ground and 371 yards on receptions, and 12 touchdowns.
Pollard underwent surgery last month after he suffered a broken fibula in the Cowboys' playoff loss to the 49ers. Dallas expects him to be ready by training camp.
