Memphis' Big 3 of Nae'Qwan Tomlin, Jahvon Quinerly and David Jones didn't offset Florida Atlantic's Vladislav Goldin and Bryan Greenlee enough as the Tigers lost their regular season conference finale 92-84 at FAU. FAU's Goldin finished with a double-double 21 points and 12 rebounds. Greenlee added 21 points of his own.

Tomlin finished with a game-high 27 points, Quinerly with 16 points, and Jones finshed with 16 points as well. Memphis' starters all played well, BUT Jayden Harden was the lone bench scorer with just 8 points.

Memphis played a solid game, but FAU happened to play an even better game in front of their loud sold-out home crowd in Boca Raton, Florida, on Saturday (3/9). After the game Penny Hardaway told reporters that he thinks FAU can make it back to the Final Four in 2024.

Memphis will now regroup before returning to action for the American Athletic Conference Tournament. Full coverage on 92.9 FM ESPN.
