The NBA announced the Grizzlies’ Group Play schedule for the Emirates NBA Cup 2024, consisting of four regular season matchups against “West Group C” opponents: Friday, November 15, at Golden State; Tuesday, November 19, vs. Denver; Friday, November 29, vs. New Orleans; and Tuesday, December 3, at Dallas. Eight teams will advance to Knockout Rounds, which will consist of single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals (played in NBA team markets on Tuesday, December 10, and Wednesday, December 11) and Semifinals and Championship (played in Las Vegas on Saturday, December 14, and Tuesday, December 17, respectively). The Knockout teams will compete for a prize pool and the NBA Cup championship trophy.

Thirteen of the Grizzlies’ first 21 games will be contested at FedExForum, including a four-game home stand (October 26-31) to begin the home schedule and a stretch of seven-of-eight at home that includes a three-game home stand (November 17-20) and four-game home stand (November 25-December 1). In addition to the home opener against Orlando and both Group Play home games, other marquee matchups at FedExForum during this stretch include: the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, October 31; Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, November 6; Denver Nuggets on Sunday, November 17; Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, November 20; and Indiana Pacers on Sunday, December 1.

Following the Emirates NBA Cup, Memphis will host the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, December 19, and the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, January 6. The Grizzlies will play another four-game home stand from January 20-25, starting with the 23rd Annual MLK Jr. Day Celebration Game, before hosting the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, February 3, and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, February 8, in the team’s final home tilt before the 2025 NBA All-Star Game.

The Grizzlies’ post-All-Star schedule includes a season-long five-game home stand with the following contests: the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, February 25; New York Knicks on Friday, February 28; a second home matchup with the Spurs on Saturday, March 1; 2024 Atlanta Hawks on Monday, March 3; and a second tilt against the Thunder on Wednesday, March 5.

Memphis also will host the following three opponents during a four-day stretch: the Lakers on Saturday, March 29; Boston Celtics on Monday, March 31; and the Warriors on Tuesday, April 1. The Grizzlies also will meet the Timberwolves at FedExForum for a second time on TNT on Thursday, April 10, and the Mavericks in the regular season finale on Sunday, April 13.

The Grizzlies will play 25 regular season games before the Emirates NBA Cup and will play 54 regular season games before the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, which will be held at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Sunday, February 16.

Not including to-be-determined games resulting from Group Play and Knockout Rounds of the Emirates NBA Cup, Memphis will play 14 home games on the weekend (five on Friday, six on Saturday and three on Sunday) and will play 15 back-to-back sets (including six home back-to-backs that do not require travel).

The Grizzlies’ regular season schedule includes two five-game road trips (December 27-January 4 and March 17-27). The first five-game trip begins a stretch of nine-of-11 away from home, while the second – played over a season-high 11-day span – begins a stretch of eight-of-11 on the road. The team will travel an estimated overall total distance of 41,000 miles this season.

No games will be played on Election Day – Tuesday, November 5 – as part of the NBA family’s focus on promoting nonpartisan civic engagement and encouraging fans to make a plan to vote.

Memphis will tip-off its five-game preseason schedule on Monday, October 7, at Dallas before playing a home exhibition on Thursday, October 10, vs. Charlotte. The Grizzlies will travel for two more road preseason contests on Saturday, October 12, at Chicago and Monday, October 14, at Indiana before closing its preseason slate at home on Friday, October 18, vs. Miami. Both preseason home games will tip-off at 7 p.m.
