The Memphis Grizzlies secured a thrilling 127-121 win over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden Saturday (12/7). Ja Morant led the charge with 32 points, including a pair of clutch three-pointers, along with nine rebounds. Jaren Jackson Jr. added 27 points and nine rebounds, while Desmond Bane chipped in 14 points. The play of the night came on a wild reverse dunk from Ja Morant "on" Kristaps Porzingis.
The Grizzlies started strong, outscoring the Celtics in the first half and taking a 66-54 lead at halftime. The Celtics, fueled by Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis, mounted a comeback in the third quarter, briefly tying the game in the fourth. However, Memphis regained control with critical baskets from Morant and Jackson Jr. down the stretch.
Despite a slow shooting night from Tatum (17 points on 6-of-21 shooting), Boston stayed competitive, thanks to Porzingis’ 19 points and solid team rebounding. Memphis' efficiency from beyond the arc (12-for-27) and their composure in the final minutes proved decisive in sealing the victory.
