The Memphis Grizzlies dropped a 119–103 decision to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night, December 22, at Paycom Center. Oklahoma City controlled the game with efficient offense and defensive pressure, winning three of the four quarters. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers with 31 points, adding eight assists and four steals, while Jalen Williams scored 24 points to help the Thunder pull away. Oklahoma City shot 50.6 percent from the field and turned defense into offense throughout the night.

Memphis was led by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Cedric Coward, who finished with 16 points apiece, while the Grizzlies connected on 41.0 percent shooting and 18 three-pointers. However, 21 turnovers proved costly, leading to a steady stream of Thunder transition points. Despite a competitive fourth quarter, Memphis couldn’t overcome the miscues and fell by 16 on the road.
