Trey Jemison scored a career-high 24 points and GG Jackson added 19 more as the plucky (and injured) Grizzlies held on to win at FedExForum Tuesday night against the Washington Wizards. Final: Memphis Grizzlies 109 Washington Wizards 97

Jemison, a 2-way signee for the Grizzlies, was outstanding for Memphis Tuesday night with hook shots floating in as he took advantage of the "center-less" Wizards.

After the game Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins was excited to discuss Jemison's career night. “I thought he was super aggressive early. Obviously we had some late clock situations. Early in the game he knocked down some buckets, but him attacking the boards–so I know he only ended up with six -- but the pressure he was putting on in the paint. I thought he did a really good job screening and rolling. That's something that we will continue to work with him on, the chemistry with the guards that are out there." Later Jenkins added he was "proud of (Jemison)."

After the game Jemison described the night as "amazing". The Grizzlies hope to have an amazing night again Wednesday as they host the Charlotte Hornets at 7:00 p.m. (pregame at 6:30 p.m.) live on 92.9 FM ESPN.
