Grizzlies Desperately Need a Win in Utah Tonight

The Memphis Grizzlies find themselves in a precarious spot as they head into tonight’s matchup against the Utah Jazz. After dropping three straight games, Memphis is slipping further down the Western Conference standings, putting their playoff hopes in jeopardy. If they don’t turn things around quickly, they could be staring at the dreaded Play-In Tournament—or worse, missing the postseason entirely.

Complicating matters, the Grizzlies just traded Marcus Smart, a veteran leader and defensive anchor. Without him, the team needs others to step up, particularly on defense, where they’ve struggled during this losing streak.
