There's questions to be answered for the Memphis Grizzlies. For one, will Memphis figure out a way to get another 10-day contract for Saturday night's starting shooting guard Jaylen Nowell? Whatever other questions remain, the team played hard again Saturday but fell short in their bid to win 3-in-a-row for the first time in the 2023-24 season. Final: Phoenix Suns 116 Memphis Grizzlies 109
Jaren Jackson Jr. had one of his best performances of the year with 37 points and 9 rebounds in his 35 minutes of action. Desmond Bane added 27 on the night. But it wasn't enough to overcome the trio of Booker-Durant-Nurkic. Devin Booker racked up a double double 34 points and 10 boards. Kevin Durant scored 27 points on the night. Jusuf Nurkic, working his way into the Phoenix Suns system this season, scored 14 points with 9 rebounds.
