Grizzlies win as Morant exits Pelicans game with shoulder injury

The Memphis Grizzlies secured a 132-124 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday (12/27). Jaren Jackson Jr. led Memphis with 33 points, while Ja Morant added 25 before exiting in the third quarter due to a right shoulder injury.

Desmond Bane contributed 18 points to the win. For New Orleans, Trey Murphy III scored a season-high 35 points, and CJ McCollum had 32. Despite their efforts, the Pelicans suffered their ninth consecutive loss. The Grizzlies maintained control throughout, leading 74-61 at halftime and withstanding a late Pelicans rally to clinch the win.
