Grizzlies Hold Off Bulls 104-100 for Preseason Win

- Memphis improved to 2-1 in preseason play with a 104-100 victory over the Chicago Bulls, holding off a late rally for its second consecutive win.
- Ty Jerome led the Grizzlies with 16 points in just 14 minutes, shooting 5-of-8 from the floor and connecting on four of six three-point attempts. He also handed out four assists without a turnover.
- GG Jackson contributed 14 points off the bench, providing another offensive spark for Memphis.
- Rookie Cameron Boozer continued his impressive preseason, finishing with 10 points, four rebounds and three assists in just 12 minutes. Boozer made an impact early, including a second-quarter dunk.

- Zach Edey continued his return from injury, scoring 10 points on perfect 3-of-3 shooting from the field. He added five rebounds, two steals and a block in 16 minutes of action.
- Memphis led 60-50 at halftime after scoring 30 points in each of the first two quarters. The Grizzlies stretched their advantage to as many as 14 points.
- Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson scored a game-high 21 points, knocking down five three-pointers. His three with 55 seconds remaining pulled Chicago within 102-100.
- Javon Small sealed the victory with two free throws in the final second after Chicago missed a potential go-ahead three-pointer.
- Memphis shot 47% from the field and finished with 25 assists. However, 21 turnovers remain an area of concern as the team prepares for the regular season.
