Memphis seized control early, holding Houston to just nine first-quarter points while building a lead that reached 22 in the third quarter before fending off a late Rockets rally.
Cedric Coward continued his outstanding Summer League with a game-high 28 points, leading a balanced Grizzlies attack that featured five players in double figures. No. 3 overall pick Cam Boozer added another impressive all-around performance, posting a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double while anchoring Memphis on both ends of the floor. The Grizzlies dominated the glass, converted key free throws down the stretch, and answered every Houston push to punch their ticket to the championship game.
